Reports say that good customer service is hard to find post-pandemic, and that may be true. But there are still people in the world delivering that sparkling, stellar service. So, I choose to be present with the good experiences and acknowledge them when they happen. I believe you will find what you are looking for.
Last night, my family and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Jackie’s Place in San Jose, CA. It was some of the best soul food I’ve had in a long time. The food was seasoned just right, the menu descriptions were accurate, and there were no surprises. Sometimes, the menu describes a dish one way, but what is served differs from what you ordered! Well, that was not the case at Jackie’s Place.
Although the food was delicious, what truly stood out was the hostess, Blair. She was such a bright and authentic light when she came to our table to greet us. She greeted us with such JOY! She was lovely, warm, friendly, engaging, and real. WOW! Since this was my first time at Jackie’s Place, I didn’t know what to expect, but Ms. Blair exceeded any thoughts I had. She genuinely wanted to ensure we enjoyed our food and our overall experience.
