On Resurrection Sunday 2025, after church, my cousin Zoey and I went to a couple of restaurants, but much to our surprise, they were closed. Then I remembered a quaint fine-dining establishment in Castro Valley, CA, that serves a wide range of authentic Chinese dishes. Though I hadn’t eaten there before, we decided to try it.
The Silver Spoon Gourmet offers a cozy, relaxing, and welcoming dining experience. The restaurant is known for its fresh ingredients, attentive care, friendly ambiance, and terrific service.
Simon Wong was our server, and he provided the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. By the time we left, Simon knew our names, and we knew his. He truly has a gift for creating an inviting environment. He ensured everything was done right the first time and made us feel like longtime regulars. He also made sure we had everything we needed to complete our meal.
Our food arrived quickly and piping hot. Everything was seasoned to perfection, especially the salt-and-pepper chicken wings, which were my favorite. There was nothing that could have made our experience more enjoyable. We left full and satisfied. I’m already planning another trip to Silver Spoon Gourmet Cuisine, located at 3563 Castro Valley Blvd., Castro Valley, CA.
With its flavorful dishes, friendly atmosphere, and kind, professional service, Silver Spoon Gourmet Cuisine is a fine-dining experience for the books, and a spot well worth visiting.
