Of course, everywhere I go, I am looking for excellent customer service moments because, despite what the reports say—that "good customer service is hard to find"—from my experience, exceptional service is out there if you are present and looking for it.

Because I am a foodie and budding chef, I frequent the grocery store, and SaveMart is one of my favorite places to shop. Quite often, when I go in, I am welcomed and acknowledged by a sweet woman. Her greetings of "How are you today?" and "Have a nice day" flow authentically and effortlessly. She is simply SWEET, and I look forward to seeing her whenever I am in the store. I miss her when she is not there.

Before today, I didn't know her name, and she didn't know mine. But that never stopped her from making me feel seen and appreciated as a customer. Let me introduce you to Gwen Dailey! Ms. Dailey exemplifies how consistency, service, and attitude can make all the difference in any organization. I hope SaveMart recognizes, values, and appreciates this gem of an employee.
