Make It Easy to Buy

We went furniture shopping with our granddaughter at a nationwide furniture store. Several salespeople were in the building but spent their time talking with one another rather than approaching us. While that was nice in a way, at one point we wanted to see if they had a particular bed headboard available in their factory. We tracked down a salesperson who got on her computer and, after about ten minutes of trying, told us to look it up on our phone, as their system hadn't worked since the storm two weeks before. We went elsewhere and found what we wanted.

Customer Service Opportunity
Part of your job in business is to help your customers buy your products. Not having your inventory available because of software or hardware problems cannot become your customer's problem. Fix your issues or have a backup plan so it's easy for customers to buy from you.
