Central Florida NCSA January Chapter Meeting
The NCSACFL hit the ground running today with its first chapter meeting of 2017. President Wes Tindal welcomed members and after a quick round of introductions launched straight into the agenda (Well, there was that short detour as he regaled us with a tale of Christmas Eve., a downtown church and a parking ticket. Really?!). He reminded all of our mission statement, took a look back at the highlights of 2016, promoted and gauged interest in the 2017 NCSA Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, reviewed Board responsibilities (Welcome, Karla & Dan!), provided program updates and wrapped with a 3-part appeal to all members:
With the "official business" concluded, it gave those attending the opportunity to speak to the various board members (several expressed interest in joining committees or hosting meetings), to catch up with fellow members or to make some new acquaintances.
