July Florida Meeting

Central Florida NCSA July Chapter Meeting held at Entertainment Benefits Group (EBG)

This is the mantra that the leadership team at Entertainment Benefits Group (EBG) is working to instill in their employees, but is also clearly one to which they themselves subscribe. They focus on ensuring that their frontline agents are confident in their abilities and they have built a state-of-the-art facility in which to do just that. They offer dynamic classroom and on-the-job training experiences in varying lengths for their representatives and care agents. However, it doesn’t end there. EBG’s approach is holistic, paying attention to their employees’ health—both mind and body. The facility offers an on-site gym with cutting edge equipment, personal trainer and even group yoga classes. Need some additional support? Well, you can consult a nutritionist, life coach or sit in on a session with one of the regular motivational speakers. Stress getting to be too much? EBG’s got you covered with a softly lit relaxation room.

Beyond that, EBG has established ongoing activities and initiatives that further reinforce a culture of positivity and happiness, one where employees are actively engaged and proud to work. For the grand opening in Orlando, aka EBG Day!, they held a town hall style meeting. They’ve hosted a Vendor Showcase, attended by more than 70 organizations from across the USA, giving employees the opportunity to learn more about the tickets they are selling directly from the vendors. EBG gives back to the community through various volunteer and fundraising initiatives. And by no means least, EBG promotes fun at work through “Random Acts of FUN-ness,” eg: a haunted house decorating contest.

EBG is a privately held travel and entertainment provider with locations in Orlando, Miami/Aventura (HQ), Las Vegas and New York, selling over 5 million tickets annually.  The Orlando team offers support via phone, email, live chat and in-person at their new ticket center (March 2016 Opening). In Las Vegas, unlike the other locations, they also provide concierge services for many of the resort hotel properties—both in-person and virtually.

Thank you Jason, Brandi, Krystal and Mark at EBG for a superlative presentation and tour!  PS – Lovin’ the swag bag!
